Job summary

Met T&S in Abu Dhabi invites a Pipeline Engineer to lead site pipeline design activities within proposals and projects for oil, gas and petrochemical sectors. You will coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to comply with codes, standards, and group document system, while managing constraints of schedule and manhours.

The role demands a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 10 years EPC experience, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of EPC experience in oil, gas, petrochemical projects.
• Strong engineering principles, project management, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Report to Project Engineering Manager or Layout & Piping Project Leader.
• Develop execution strategy and project schedule for pipelines.
• Lead pipeline design execution during proposals, feasibility, and detail engineering phases with subcontractors.
• Assist in estimating materials and construction costs for pipelines.
• Provide support to Project Stakeholders including Proposals, PMs, Procurement, and Construction.
• Suggest improvements to procedures, work instructions, and standards.
