Job summary

Met T&S in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support EPC activities within the oil, gas and petrochemical sector. The role collaborates with the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) to coordinate activities, ensuring deadlines and budgets are respected.

Key responsibilities include supervising multidisciplinary activities, reporting status to PEM, developing coordination procedures, ensuring document quality and assisting in technical decision-making, with a priority on

Qualifications

At least 10 years of EPC experience in oil, gas & petrochemical projects.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies and technical documentation.
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

To supervise specific multi-disciplinary activities and critical engineering cycles attaining to the contract’s budget and the project’s execution timing.
To report to PEM concerning the status, planning and crucial issues of the activities assigned.
To support the PEM in the definition and preparation of coordination and engineering project execution procedures.
To ensure the multidisciplinary project documents quality, in accordance with the contract requirements and respecting the assigned budget and deadlines.
To support the PEM in the definition of the project basic technical choices, identifying the best solutions from technical, economical and temporal perspectives.
