Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc in computer science or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
• Expert PHP or Node.js in large, scalable web apps.
• Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Version control with GIT; Agile development and JIRA knowledge.
• Basic Unix commands and environments understood.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a cross-functional team to help and lead the development of new features.
• Review, debug, and refactor code to improve the codebase.
• Contribute to application improvement through audits, refactoring, and caching.
• Write DRY code using best practices.
• Assist with feature requirements and Sprint planning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on shaping, estimating, and planning new requirements.
• Participate in showcases of new work to product owners and stakeholders.
