Job summary

Mediclinic International is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to deliver effective pharmacy services in line with patient safety and UAE regulatory requirements. The role includes guiding the pharmacy team, ensuring accurate dispensing, and maintaining robust inventory management.

Ideal candidates hold a B.Pharm license in the UAE with at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital setting, and a strong understanding of JCIA standards, budgeting, and patient experience initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires UAE-licensed Pharmacist with B.Pharm.
• Must understand UAE healthcare regulatory framework and JCIA standards for pharmacies.
• Budgeting and financial management experience preferred.
• Strong focus on patient experience and service excellence.
• Awareness of commercial aspects and stock management processes.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee pharmacy services ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to the pharmacy team.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver effective and efficient pharmacy services in line withpatient safety and regulatory requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

To provide guidance and supportto the pharmacy team

To ensure effective and efficient dispensing of medication

To ensure effective inventory management practices are implemented, monitored and managed and stock is managed accordingly

To ensure compliance with related requirements set by the authorities and company to ensure quality and risk mitigation standards are adhered to

Provide support with the monitoring of Pharmacy budget and finances

REQUIRED EDUCATION

B.Pharm degree from an accredited institution and licensed as a Pharmacist with the relevant UAE healthcare authority

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years Supervisory experience in a Pharmacy of which at least 2 years has been in a hospital environment
