Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai is seeking an experienced Pharmacist Leader to deliver safe and compliant pharmacy services and to guide a professional pharmacy team in daily operations.

The role emphasizes effective dispensing, inventory management, regulatory adherence, and budget oversight to support patient care and department performance within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• B.Pharm degree from an accredited institution and licensed as a Pharmacist with the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• At least 3 years Supervisory experience in a Pharmacy, with at least 2 years in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory framework, JCIA standards, budgeting and patient experience best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to the pharmacy team.
• Ensure effective and efficient dispensing of medication.
• Ensure stock is managed effectively and inventory practices are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with authorities and company quality and risk standards.
• Assist with monitoring the Pharmacy budget and finances.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver effective and efficient pharmacy services in line with patient safety and regulatory requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• To provide guidance and support to the pharmacy team
• To ensure effective and efficient dispensing of medication
• To ensure effective inventory management practices are implemented, monitored and managed and stock is managed accordingly
• To ensure compliance with related requirements set by the authorities and company to ensure quality and risk mitigation standards are adhered to
• Provide support with the monitoring of Pharmacy budget and finances

REQUIRED EDUCATION

B.Pharm degree from an accredited institution and licensed as a Pharmacist with the relevant UAE healthcare authority

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years Supervisory experience in a Pharmacy of which at least 2 years has been in a hospital environment

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements
• Understanding of the healthcare industry and related trends
