Job summary

Allocation Assist is seeking a Consultant Pediatric Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care for neonates, infants, children and adolescents in elective and high‑risk settings in Dubai. The role includes perioperative assessments, intraoperative management, postoperative pain control, and active participation in pediatric resuscitation and critical care pathways.

You will lead teams, supervise trainees, and contribute to audits and quality improvement while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent required.
• Residency in Anesthesiology completed.
• Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia completed.
• Board Certification required (e.g., ABMS, Royal College, Arab Board).
• Eligibility for DOH/HAAD Consultant License.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence‑based anesthesia care for pediatric patients across ages.
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and risk stratification.
• Deliver intraoperative anesthesia management including airway control and monitoring.
• Oversee postoperative recovery, pain management, and sedation protocols.
• Support PICU/NICU teams in airway management and procedural sedation.
• Participate in simulation, audits, and continuous professional development.
