Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent with completed residency in Anesthesiology.
• Recognized fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia and board certification.
• Eligibility for DOH-HAAD Consultant License in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based anesthesia for neonates to adolescents.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and pediatric risk stratification.
• Develop anesthesia plans based on patient age and procedure.
• Intraoperative management including airway, ventilation, and monitoring.
• Oversee postoperative recovery and pain management.
• Manage pediatric sedation protocols within privileges.
• Participate in morbidity/mortality reviews and quality initiatives.
• Teach and supervise residents and allied staff.
