Job summary

UMO is a stealth-mode FinTech venture building a unified, AI-powered money platform across fiat, crypto, and investments. The Senior Fullstack Engineer - Payments will lead the Payments squad, combining Go backend with React UI work when needed, delivering high-concurrency transactions end-to-end in a hybrid, international setup with offices in Lisbon, Dubai, Kyiv, and beyond.

The role blends backend leadership with hands-on delivery, driving secure, scalable payment flows while mentoring

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with 5+ years of production backend experience in Go.
• Experience leading a squad in a fintech or payments context is required.
• Familiarity with React/TypeScript is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes end-to-end for payments features and microservices.
• Mentor the squad and conduct code reviews to raise engineering standards.
• Collaborate with other teams to connect banking APIs and payment rails.
• Ship code regularly in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
