Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years+ in Tobacco Industry with Cigarette Making machines.
• Hands-on experience with Cigarette Making technologies and related equipment.
• Experience with Decoufle Loga, GD121A, Hauni Nano/Protos machines.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality defects in cigarette making machines and take corrective actions.
• Identify reasons for machine-related waste and reduce it.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, inspection, repair of secondary machinery and ancillaries.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with laws.
• Lead maintenance and project department activities, including planning and procurement.
• Plan preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for reliability and safety.
• Review machine history for repeated breakdowns and implement actions.
• Provide technical assistance to the maintenance team.
• Supervise technicians and report to Manager.

Job Overview:

Hands on experience on Cigarette Making technologies like DECOUFLE make LOGA3D100, LOGA3D85, DECOUFLE NANO 6, NANO 8, NANO 10, DECOUFLE TWIN, HAUNI PROTOS FAMILY and GD121A machine's run ability and quality related problems and their troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifying Quality Defects in Cigarette Making Machines and taking necessary corrective and preventive actions to eliminate the quality defects.
• Identify key reasons for waste and reduction of machine related waste.
• Provides work direction and participates in the construction, installation, operation, maintenance, inspection and repair of the all the machineries in secondary including ancillaries, Filter making machines and other various equipment’s.
• Enforces safety policies and recommends changes to meet safety standards and laws.
• Leads staff to complete assigned duties, which may include scheduling work, making work assignments, managing performance, and recommending personnel actions.
• Leading entire Maintenance, & Project Department activities including breakdown analysis, corrective & preventive actions, spares identification, planning, procurement & control and installation & commissioning of new machines.
• Conducting Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of Cigarette Making Machine & their ancillaries
• Planning & implementing the Preventive and Predictive maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability and safety of machinery.
• Reviewing history records of key machines for repeated breakdowns, analysis and carrying out necessary corrective & preventive actions.
• To do design modification whenever required for machine.
• Making Spare Part planning for uninterrupted services to production department and execution of new projects.
• Providing technical assistance to the Maintenance team.
• Supervising the job allocated to Machine teams & guiding them during work and report to Manager.
• Maintain 5 S in stem respective areas and doing KAIZEN and POKE YOKE to make easy.
• Giving basic training to newly joined co-workers.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Technical Manager.

People Management:

• Technical/Operative Improvement and overall job satisfaction,
• Ensure that team members are motivated and retention of good performing Technician.
• Be supportive with another Technician and keep communicative with them.
• Prepare the daily activities report to share with the Technical Manager.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Be proactive at all the time while in the shift and make sure no any hazards in the Concerned Department.
• Ensure and setup all the machine function properly are working fine every day.
• Able to plan, organize and deliver results in time to meet deadline.

Skillset:

• Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening of Technical Code & Command.
• Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and Out of the box problem solving techniques.
• Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make wide repairing skills.
• Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
• Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
• Experience in Decoufle machines – Loga 3D, Loga 3D85, Loga 3D100, Twin
• Experience in latest generation GD121 machines.
• Experience in Hauni machines – Nano 6, Nano 8, Nano10, Protos.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years+ of experience in Tobacco Industry – State of the art Cigarette Making machines.
• Electrical supply and Functional knowledge about to development /maintain industrial Electrical Plant.

Education:

• Associate’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
