Job summary

ConnexR Solutions Pvt Ltd in Dubai, UAE, seeks a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Oracle PL/SQL to design, develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance database solutions for large-scale transactional systems.

Candidates with airline reservation, ticketing, fare management, and PNR experience are preferred. This onsite role requires working five days a week with a day shift; salary budget is AED 13,000–15,000 per month, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills.
• Relational database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with high-volume transactional production systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Write, analyze, and tune complex SQL queries for high-volume transactional databases.
• Apply strong knowledge of relational database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Support large-scale production systems and ensure database performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Analyze and resolve data discrepancies related to bookings, fares, ticketing, payments, and foreign exchange reconciliation.
• Maintain data integrity and support audit and compliance requirements involving passenger and airline financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot database issues and deliver reliable solutions.
