Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Consultant/Specialist Ophthalmologist to join a leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai. The role encompasses diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of ocular conditions in a modern setting with advanced ophthalmic technologies.

The successful candidate will perform cataract surgery and other microsurgical procedures, participate in outpatient clinics, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality eye care in line with UAE regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years post speciality experience required.
• Recognised specialist qualifications listed above.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage eye conditions including refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disorders, and infections.
• Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures including cataract surgery and other microsurgical interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with visual acuity testing, slit-lamp examination, and fundoscopic evaluation.
• Utilise advanced diagnostic tools and imaging modalities in patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with regulatory standards.

American Board of Ophthalmology

UK CCT / FRCOphth / MRCOphth

Royal College Certification (Canada)

Australian Fellowship

Arab Board in Ophthalmology

MS / MD / DNB / FCPS Ophthalmology or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
