Job summary

we staffed hr is seeking a qualified and experienced ophthalmologist in Dubai to join our healthcare team. The ophthalmologist will provide comprehensive eye care, diagnose and treat eye conditions, and perform procedures within their scope of practice.

Responsibilities include eye examinations, developing treatment plans, managing conditions, and collaborating with nurses and specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in ophthalmology.
• Relevant post-qualification clinical experience.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments.
• Diagnose and manage ophthalmic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and ophthalmic assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries appropriate to the physician's training and scope of practice.
• Assess patients for surgical intervention and provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Monitor patients progress and modify treatment plans when required.
• Manage acute and chronic ophthalmic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and other appropriate treatments.
• Educate patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive eye care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Refer patients to appropriate subspecialists when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements
