Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Wireline Logging Technician to prepare equipment and tools for electric logging services, ensuring safety, timeliness, and efficiency. The role involves rigging up/down, running in hole, pulling out of hole, and drawing work preparation of logging strings.

The successful candidate will test and check logging tools, operate winch systems, and participate in training on handling radiological usages, transport, and storages

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logging Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 years of Wireline (E-Logging) experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and tools for electric wire-line logging as per customer expectations, safely and efficiently.
• Rig up/rig down operations and run logging strings as required.
• Check and test logging tools.
• Operate winch and monitor winch control panel measurements.
• Participate in training on radioactive usages, transport and storages.

Job Purpose

Prepare all the necessary equipment and tools for delivering of electric wire-line logging services as per customer’s expectations, safe, timely and efficient manner.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

• Perform various activities in operations of rigging up / rigging down, running in hole, pulling out of hole, draw work preparing of logging strings as required.


• Run logging tools, well understand the operational, usage of winch and winch control panel's measurements.


• Check and test the logging tools.


• Participate training in Radio actives usages, transport and storages.


• Attend training on well logging explosive (perforations), transport and storages.

Generic Accountabilities

• Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.


• Training Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.


• Innovation and Continuous Improvement Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures and functional processes.


• Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices. Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.


• Housekeeping Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.


• Reports Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management. Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.

Contact with line Manager/ peers and other employees within the company/Group as required

External Communications & Working Relationships

Contact with external parties including consultants, third party service providers, and government agencies as required

Minimum Qualification

Diploma in Logging Engineering or equivalent

• 6 years of Wireline (E-Logging) experience.
