Job summary

ADNOC in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Wireline Logging Operator to prepare equipment and execute logging jobs efficiently and safely. You will rig up, run in hole, pull out, and manage logging tools with proper winch operation and tool testing.

The role requires a Diploma in Logging Engineering and about 6 years of wireline experience, with training on radiating activities, transport, storages, and perforations. Works in a controlled environment with strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logging Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 years of Wireline (E-Logging) experience required.
• Knowledge of logging tools, procedures and HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Rig up / rig down operations and run in hole / pulling out of hole.
• Operate logging tools and manage winch and control panels.
• Check and test logging tools; ensure safety and readiness for service deliveries.
• Attend training on radio active usages, transport and storages; training on perforations.

Job Purpose

Prepare all the necessary equipment and tools for delivering of electric wire-line logging services as per customer's expectations, safe, timely and efficient manner.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

. Perform various activities in operations of rigging up / rigging down, running in hole, pulling out of hole, draw work preparing of logging strings as required.
. Run logging tools, well understand the operational, usage of winch and winch control panel's measurements.
. Check and test the logging tools.
. Participate training in Radio actives usages, transport and storages.
. Attend training on well logging explosive (perforations), transport and storages.

. Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures, to accomplish operational objectives.
Training
. Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

. Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures and functional processes.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
. Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
. Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.
Housekeeping
. Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during operations, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
Reports
. Provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
. Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.

Contact with line Manager/ peers and other employees within the company/Group as required

External Communications & Working Relationships

Contact with external parties including consultants, third party service providers, and government agencies as required

Minimum Qualification

Diploma in Logging Engineering or equivalent

6 years of Wireline (E-Logging) experience.
