Job summary

ESG Emirates Stallions Group P.J.S.C. in Abu Dhabi seeks an operations leader to oversee daily fit-out and interior design projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and high quality.

You will coordinate across design, engineering, procurement, production and site teams while managing subcontractors and suppliers for on-time material delivery. The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and a proactive approach to HSE, process improvement and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction or Project Management.
• 12+ years of experience in interior fit-out, joinery, renovation or construction.
• PM certification PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile Project Management is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent project planning and coordination skills.
• Budget management and cost control.
• Vendor and subcontractor management.
• Negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and project management software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Ability to maintain high-quality standards while controlling costs.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient execution of fit-out and interior design projects.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies and procedures.
• Manage project planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, production and site teams.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate project managers, site managers, engineers and staff.
• Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and support tender input.
• Approve project execution plans and schedules.
• Allocate manpower and resources across projects.
• Suspend or stop work activities that pose safety risks or non-compliance.
• Escalate major operational or contractual issues to senior management.
• Prepare operation reports and performance updates for management.
