Job summary

NorthBay Solutions is seeking an OpenShift Infrastructure Administrator for a 6-month onsite engagement in Dubai. You will manage and optimize enterprise OpenShift clusters within a hybrid cloud setup, collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure secure, scalable operations.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in infrastructure and DevOps, with deep OpenShift, Azure, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes expertise, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in infrastructure admin and DevOps with OpenShift focus.
• Hands-on Azure, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform expertise.
• Proficient in CI/CD design and OpenShift integration.
• Knowledge of IaC, cloud governance, and security best practices.
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and scale OpenShift clusters with security and performance standards.
• Design automation using Terraform for provisioning and IaC.
• Integrate OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines for deployments and updates.
• Monitor performance, perform root-cause analysis, and fine-tune resources.
• Enforce security and high availability using Azure-native and Kubernetes tooling.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to support deployments and uptime.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, and configuration management.
• Manage Terraform state backends and cross-environment governance.
• Stay current with OpenShift updates and cloud-native tools.
