Job summary

Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company seeks an senior Construction Manager with 15+ years in Oil & Gas and ADNOC onshore experience. You will lead multidisciplinary construction activities, ensure safety compliance, and drive planning, controls, and interface resolution with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities include developing execution strategies, supervising resources, and coordinating with Project Controls for progress and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of Oil & Gas construction experience.
• Minimum 10 years in ADNOC onshore projects.
• ADNOC-approved PTW holder and supervisor certifications preferred.
• Relevant HSE certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site construction activities across disciplines (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom) and commissioning support.
• Develop construction execution strategies, work packs, resource plans and construction schedules.
• Monitor progress, implement recovery plans, and manage brownfield modifications, shutdowns, tie-ins, hot works and live plant interfaces.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE Management System, PTW, SIMOPS and Life Saving Rules.
• Review schedules, coordinate with Project Controls for progress measurement and forecasting; provide construction inputs for reporting (S-curves, look-ahead schedules).
• Act as focal point for ADNOC EPCM contractors, consultants and vendors; resolve interface challenges and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure ITP and quality procedures are followed; close NCRs and support commissioning activities.
• Manage multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractors; review subcontractor performance and change management.
