Astra ProMed seeks a highly qualified Consultant Oncologist in Abu Dhabi to lead cancer diagnosis, treatment planning and patient management within a leading healthcare facility. The role offers exposure to multidisciplinary teams and advanced cancer care technologies in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Oncology or a relevant oncology subspecialty.
• Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualification.
• Eligible for the appropriate DOH Consultant Oncology specialty classification/license in Abu Dhabi, subject to UAE PQR requirements

Responsabilités

• Provide consultation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of cancer patients.
• Coordinate systemic therapies, radiation therapy, and surgical interventions with specialists.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations including CT, MRI, PET-CT, histopathology and molecular testing.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with oncology team, surgeons, radiologists and pathologists.
• Educate patients and families about cancer diagnoses, treatments and long-term care; ensure safety and DOH compliance
