Astra ProMed in Abu Dhabi seeks a highly qualified Consultant Radiation Oncologist to join a leading healthcare facility. You will oversee radiation therapy, plan cutting-edge treatments, and work in a multidisciplinary oncology team to deliver comprehensive cancer care.

The role requires MBBS/MD, postgraduate Radiation Oncology credentials, and board certification. UAE DOH licensing eligibility is advantageous; international qualifications are welcomed.

Qualificações

• MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiation Oncology / Clinical Oncology, with appropriate radiation oncology training.
• Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant-level qualification.
• American/UK/Canadian/Australian/European or other internationally recognized qualifications are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant post-specialization experience.
• Strong expertise in radiotherapy planning and modern radiotherapy technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring radiation therapy.
• Develop individualized radiotherapy treatment plans based on cancer type and stage.
• Plan and supervise external beam radiation therapy (EBRT), IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, and stereotactic radiotherapy.
• Provide SBRT, SRS, or brachytherapy as trained and credentialed.
• Interpret CT, MRI, PET-CT and other oncologic imaging.
• Monitor treatment response and manage radiation-related complications.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate on cancer strategies.
