Job summary
A specialized medical facility in the UAE seeks an experienced Specialist / Consultant Surgical Oncologist to deliver advanced oncologic surgery and comprehensive cancer care. The role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, evaluating patients, planning treatments, performing complex oncologic operations, and guiding pre- and postoperative care with emphasis on safety, outcomes, and patient counseling.

Qualifications
- Specialist qualification in Surgical Oncology required.
- American Board certification or equivalent recognized internationally.
- Experience in managing complex oncological cases.
- Current medical registration and standing.
- Eligibility for UAE licensing with DHA/DOH/MOHAP.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and determine surgical options for malignancies.
- Perform oncological surgeries per protocols.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with oncology teams.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care and follow-up.
- Ensure accurate documentation and uphold safety standards.
- Counsel patients and families on options, risks, recovery.
- Coordinate with diagnostic teams for staging and planning.
