Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer to lead offshore FEED activities for an Abu Dhabi-based project. The role covers design, specifications, vendor coordination and compliance with IEC/ITU/IEEE standards, supporting offshore platforms and substations.

The candidate will drive telecom system design (PAGA, CCTV, PABX/VoIP, radio, fiber, LAN/WAN) and ensure robust network infrastructure, safety, and delivery of FEED deliverables. A strong offshore FEED background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of telecom engineering experience.
• At least 5+ years offshore FEED/EPC experience.
• Experience on offshore platforms, FPSOs, substations or petrochemical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead telecom design for FEED and concept phases offshore facilities.
• Define system architecture, design basis and deliverables.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, process and safety teams.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, ITU, IEEE, NFPA, IMO, SOLAS, NORSOK and client standards.
