Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking a Lead Telecommunication Engineer (Offshore) in Abu Dhabi to lead telecom activities across onshore and offshore oil & gas projects. The role covers FEED to detailed engineering, including system architectures, design philosophies, specifications, and compliance with ADNOC standards.

The candidate will conduct site surveys, brownfield assessments, and develop scalable telecom solutions for diverse facilities while mentoring a team of engineers and coordinating with project

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in telecommunication engineering for oil & gas or energy sectors.
• 5–8+ years in lead or senior leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for telecom engineering during FEED and Detailed Engineering.
• Develop telecom system architectures, specifications, and implementation-ready deliverables.
• Perform site surveys, brownfield assessments, and telecom adequacy studies.
• Review telecom deliverables and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes.
• Lead design reviews, value engineering, and risk assessment workshops.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams to ensure project deliverables.
