Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer for offshore FEED projects based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role covers telecom system design, PAGA, CCTV, access control, and data networks across offshore facilities, requiring leadership and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The incumbent will develop design philosophies, prepare deliverables, review inputs, and ensure compliance with international standards and client specs throughout FEED activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications or related engineering field.
• Minimum 15 years telecom engineering experience.
• 5+ years offshore FEED/EPC project experience.
• Experience on offshore platforms or similar facilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute telecom engineering activities for offshore FEED projects.
• Develop telecom design philosophies, basis of design, and system architecture.
• Prepare FEED deliverables including design basis and topologies.
• Coordinate with electrical, I&C, process, and safety teams.
• Review inputs such as P&IDs, plot plans, and hazard classifications.
• Ensure compliance with IEC/ITU/IEEE, NFPA, IMO, SOLAS, and local standards.
• Manage vendor documents, MR/TBE/RFQ packages and TBEs.
