Job summary

Penspen Ltd is seeking a Senior Engineer - Planning & Cost Control for an offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves developing schedules, cost control, and coordinating with EPC/PMC teams to manage planning and budgeting.

The candidate should have 15+ years in project planning and cost control in oil & gas, with offshore exposure and strong Primavera P6, SAP, and Excel skills. ADNOC project experience is a plus, with independent work capability and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
15+ years of experience in project planning and cost control in the oil and gas industry, offshore.
5+ years in offshore projects is mandatory.
PMC experience preferred.
Experience on ADNOC projects would be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of planning and cost control tools (Primavera P6, SAP, Excel).
Excellent understanding of project lifecycle, budgeting, and earned value management.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update project schedules for offshore brownfield works (WHTs, subsea cables, and piping).
Prepare baseline schedules and track progress against plan, identifying deviations and recovery actions
Perform cost estimation, budgeting, and monitoring for brownfield modifications
Coordinate with EPC/PMC/contractors for planning, scheduling, and cost control
Support change management (MCRs, VOs), risk assessment, and impact analysis on schedule and cost
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholder review
