Job summary

Saipem in Abu Dhabi seeks an Offshore Methods / Installation Engineer (Expert/Senior) with offshore transportation and installation experience for onshore/offshore bases. Minimum 5–10 years in installation engineering and a Master’s degree are required.

You will manage installation packages, coordinate with naval, structural and pipelay teams, and support mobilization, testing and installation activities. The role involves leading junior engineers and draftsmen across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of installation engineering experience including offshore operations and yard activities.
• Strong familiarity with offshore codes and standards.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare installation package with procedures, rigging drawings, check lists and trial lift plans.
• Coordinate with naval, structural and pipelay teams; review analysis and design reports.
• Support onshore and offshore operations during mobilization, testing and installation.
• Lead junior engineers and draftsmen in preparing installation documents.
