Job summary

Saipem is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer for offshore transportation and installation projects in the UAE. The role emphasizes shallow water activities (S‑Lay / Jacket / Deck) and requires hands-on involvement with drawings and offshore coordination.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in installation engineering, a Master’s degree in Mechanical/Civil, fluency in English, and solid knowledge of major offshore TI codes (DNV/API) and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical/Civil (preferred) or related engineering field.
• 5–10 years in installation engineering or related offshore fields.
• Proficient with common office tools and offshore TI codes (DNV/API), good English.

Responsibilities

• Work on offshore transportation and installation projects, with emphasis on shallow water activities.
• Prepare and review anchor pattern drawings for mooring of offshore vessels.
• Plan offshore pipelines, jackets, decks, and cargo barge transportation and installation.
• Coordinate installation layouts and transport of piles, risers, j-tubes, sleepers and mattresses.
• Contribute to design of subsea facilities including pipelines and flexible products.
