Job summary

Indman is seeking an experienced Offshore Installation Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead engineering activities on offshore projects. The role ensures QA/QC and HSE compliance while coordinating with the Offshore Method Lead and project team.

The engineer will develop schedules, define specifications, approve designs for procurement, and support offshore operations with clear manuals and data, including field verification during yard and vessel activities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in offshore installation engineering.
• Experience in offshore/yard operations follow-up.
• Knowledge of DNV/API codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Report to Offshore Method Lead.
• Draw up and revise the project engineering schedule.
• Identify technical problems and propose contractual-compliant solutions.
• Define task specifications and supervise drafting by others.
• Specify materials or services for engineering tasks within budget.
• Approve technical designs for purchase or construction.
• Participate in design reviews and client technical examinations.
• Ensure operation data and manuals are prepared for onboard personnel.
• Supervise offshore activities and verify equipment and materials.
