Job summary

Saipem is seeking an Offshore Methods / Installation Engineer (Expert/Senior) with offshore transportation and installation experience for onshore/offshore based work in Abu Dhabi. The role covers preparation of installation packages, interface coordination with engineering teams, and supervision of the installation phase including vessel mobilization and subcontractor management.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-10 years in Installation engineering (including operation follow up / offshore & yard experiences).
Master’s degree in Mechanical/Civil (preferable) or other Engineering degree.
Office package proficiency including Microsoft Project and familiarity with main offshore TI codes (DNV/API).

Responsibilities

Prepare complete engineering Installation package (installation procedures / rigging drawing / check list dossier / trial lift & load out procedures).
Follow up interfaces with Installation analysis team (naval eng. / structural eng. / pipelay analysis eng.).
Follow up operation phase including procurement, vessel mobilization and subcontractors contracts.
Support onshore & offshore operations to provide technical assistance to vessel management during mobilization/testing/installation.
Lead and coordinate a team of young engineers (method/ops eng) and draftsmen for installation documents.
