Job summary

NMDC in United Arab Emirates seeks a Civil/Mechanical engineer to join our offshore team. You will verify input parameters, generate analysis reports, and provide data for installation drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

The role also includes verifying outputs, checking analyses performed by junior engineers, and attending to client, Marine Warranty Surveyor, certification, and operations comments, with a strong focus on HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical engineering.
• 5 years experience in basic design of offshore structures.
• Commercial awareness and cost effectiveness.
• Good English communication skills.
• Report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify input parameters
• Generate analysis reports
• Provide all required data to prepare installation drawings
• Verify output values
• Check analysis performed by juniors
• Attend to comments from Client / MWS (Marine Warranty Surveyor) / Certification / Operations
• Compliance, in accordance with HSE Standard.
