Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Offshore Construction Manager to support planning and execution of offshore hook‑up activities across project phases. You will review documents, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure readiness for hook‑up execution.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 8 years of offshore construction experience, plus strong leadership and English communication skills, with a focus on safety, quality and cost‑effective

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore construction, preferably with offshore hook‑up activities.
• Strong understanding of offshore operations, equipment, personnel, and execution processes.
• Good commercial awareness with focus on cost effectiveness and project delivery.
• Strong decision‑making, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good report writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute offshore hook‑up activities across project phases.
• Prepare and coordinate hook‑up work packages, job cards, and execution plans.
• Review engineering documents and procedures for constructability and readiness for hook‑up execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, marine, fabrication, and offshore teams to ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Support mobilization plans and offshore readiness activities including manpower, vessels, materials, and subcontractor coordination.
• Monitor offshore hook‑up progress, daily activities, and productivity; identify delays and support recovery actions.
• Coordinate subcontractor performance, offshore teams, and third‑party agencies during hook‑up execution.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, conduct safety inspections, and support quality assurance activities.
• Assist in preparation of variation orders, technical reports, final dossiers, and project close‑out documentation.
