Senior Offshore HSE Auditor - Barge & Compliance

Job summary

NMDC Energy in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced HSE Auditor for onshore and offshore oil & gas projects. You will plan, coordinate, and perform barge audits to ensure compliance with ADNOC/ARAMCO HSE standards and client requirements, while driving NCR closure and lessons learned.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, NEBOSH/IOSH Diploma, 6+ years of offshore experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• NEBOSH / IOSH Diploma or an equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification is required.
• Minimum 06 years' experience in Onshore and Offshore, in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Expert understanding of offshore operations, personnel and equipment.
• Well versed knowledge in ADNOC / ARAMCO HSE standards.
• Fluent written & spoken English language.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform barge audits, to ensure that marine units engaged on projects meet all contractual requirements in the most cost effective and efficient manner. Primarily involved in planning, coordinating and monitoring activities of the audit schedule of the barges
• Ensure that timely readiness of vessels are engaged on projects from a compliance standpoint
• Educate field personnel on rules and regulations and statutory requirements to guarantee a continued high level of compliance
• Verify the correct implementation of company lifting standards and quality procedures on-board barges
• Ensure barge equipment is compliant with latest rules and regulations
• Attend all client inspections on board the barges and create good working rapport with the client inspectors
• Inspect barge certificates and ensure all are correctly formatted and up to date
• Ensure all HSE fixed or mobile equipment’s (LSA /FFA) as per approved safety plan are inspected as per ADNOC HSE / ARAMCO HSE standards
• Conduct audits on board the vessel and identify the NCRs for close out action
• Based on audit report related NCRs Root Cause analysis to be generated with relevant departments to avoid recurrence
• Ensure that the Corrective actions are generated for lessons learned program, the identified Gap Analysis are discussed for foreseen actions and the final Close out is shared to compliance manager for review and acceptance
