Job summary

NMDC Career site is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead offshore fabrication activities in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on the construction of offshore platforms, jackets and modules, with a strong emphasis on piping fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, and pre-commissioning.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8–10 years of offshore yard experience, with proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage system walk-downs and punch

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
8-10 years of experience in offshore fabrication yards.
Experience in the construction of Offshore Platforms, Jackets, and Modules.
Strong background in piping fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, mechanical completion, and pre-commissioning.
Experience in system walk-downs and punch list clearance.
Good knowledge of structural fabrication and erection activities.
Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, and other relevant industry standards.
Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
Preferred: Extensive offshore oil & gas experience with a strong focus on piping construction, testing, pre-commissioning, and EPC fabrication projects involving jackets, topsides, and modules.
