Job summary

NMDC Group is seeking a Yard Engineer to oversee fabrication, assembly, and erection activities for offshore jackets, topsides, modules, skids, structural steel, piping systems, pipe racks, and mechanical equipment. The role requires supervision of fabrication progress, manpower utilization, productivity, and equipment deployment.

Applicants should have 8–15 years in Oil & Gas fabrication yards, EPC projects, or offshore/onshore construction, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–15 years of Oil & Gas fabrication/EPC experience.
• Experience in fabrication yards and offshore/onshore projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fabrication, assembly, and erection activities for offshore jackets, topsides, modules, skids, structural steel, piping systems, pipe racks, and mechanical equipment.
• Plan progress, manpower utilization, productivity, and equipment deployment.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and HSE teams for smooth project execution.
• Review fabrication drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and material take-offs.
• Monitor fit-up, welding, NDT, dimensional control, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and mechanical completion.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, quality standards, HSE requirements, and client procedures.
• Coordinate inspections, punch-list clearance, system handovers, and turnover documentation.
