Job summary

Wood is seeking a Sr. Fabrication Site Manager - EPC2 to lead all fabrication yard and site activities for a major ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

You will ensure safe execution, quality compliance, on-schedule delivery, and effective coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams. The role requires extensive offshore fabrication experience, strong leadership, and ability to manage large multicultural teams in a demanding oil & gas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 20+ years of experience on large oil and gas development projects.
• 5+ years of managerial experience.
• Extensive fabrication management on EPC/PMC projects.
• Strong knowledge of offshore fabrication, welding, QA/QC processes.
• Experience leading multicultural fabrication yard teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead fabrication site execution activities in accordance with project objectives, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
• Manage fabrication yard operations, including structural, piping, mechanical, and multidiscipline fabrication works.
• Ensure fabrication activities are completed in line with approved schedules, budgets, and project specifications.
• Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Review and approve fabrication methodologies, work procedures, and recovery plans.
• Drive compliance with ADNOC Offshore and Wood standards, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership to site teams and foster a strong safety culture.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare and present progress reports to project management and client representatives.
