Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Specialist Cost Estimation Engineer for an offshore PMC project to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on developing detailed cost estimates across planning, tendering, and execution stages, with emphasis on accuracy, risk assessment, and robust financial controls.

Ideal candidates bring 20+ years in oil & gas, 5–8 years on mega offshore endeavors (> $1B), and a bachelor's degree in engineering, with ADNOC project experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 20+ years in oil & gas preferred.
• 5–8 years on offshore FEED/Engineering mega projects (> $1B).

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates during planning, tendering and execution phases.
• Prepare budget forecasts, CBS, and estimates at completion.
• Support decision-making with cost comparisons and financial recommendations.
• Monitor cost variances and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain/update cost databases and estimation standards.
• Participate in value engineering and cost-optimization initiatives.
