Job summary

KBR in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Cost Estimation Engineer for a PMC project involving feasibility studies and conceptual design/pre-FEED work. The role requires extensive cost estimation expertise in large oil and gas projects, with ADNOC PMC exposure as a must.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and strong skills in financial metrics, report writing, and presentations to support decision-making in Abu Dhabi City.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in cost estimation for large oil and gas projects, especially gas processing.
• Deep knowledge of oil and gas industry codes and standards and applying them to project cost estimation.
• Experience in preparing/reviewing estimates from PRE-FEED/FEED engineers/contractors.
• Strong understanding of project economics and financial metrics (IRR, NPV).
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• ADNOC PMC experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost estimates for ASSESS/SELECT (Pre-FEED) / FEED stages.
• Support and present economic analyses and business cases to stakeholders.
• Deliver clear, data-driven cost reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and Contractors to ensure accuracy.

KBR is looking for a Senior Cost Estimation Engineer for a PMC project with Feasibility Studies & Conceptual Design/ Pre-FEED experience to be based at Abu Dhabi City.

Experience required:

• 15 years of experience in Cost Estimation role for large oil and gas projects especially Gas Processing Projects.
• Depth knowledge of oil and gas industry codes and standards with proven ability to apply the standards to oil and gas projects cost estimation.
• Strong experience in preparing and reviewing the cost estimates submitted by ASSESS / SELECT (Pre-FEED) / FEED Engineers/Contractors.
• Strong understanding and Interpretation of project economics and their implications with reference to financial metrics such as Internal Rate of Return Net Present Value
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Excellent in delivering presentations.
• AACE Certification is preferable / optional.
• Previous ADNOC projects and PMC experiences are a must.
• Bachelors degree in engineering is a must.
