Job summary

Black & Grey HR seeks a Contract Engineer to join our client's offshore and subsea operations team in Abu Dhabi. You will manage contractual aspects of assigned projects from post‑award through execution, ensuring compliance with terms and minimizing commercial risk.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 10+ years in contract administration on large EPC projects, and professional certifications such as MRICS, PMP, or CCM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of contract administration and commercial management on large EPC projects.
• Professional certifications (MRICS, PMP, CCM) are an advantage.
• Experience handling contracts over USD 200 million+ annual budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer project contracts including EPC, Survey, Subsea, and CPA contracts.
• Interpret contract terms and provide guidance to project teams and clients.
• Prepare and evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders.
• Assess Extension of Time (EOT) claims and cost impacts.
• Monitor cost performance and certify works.
• Prepare regular contractual and commercial reports for the client.
• Coordinate with project managers, planning, cost engineers and risk teams.
