Job summary

Black & Grey HR is seeking a Contract Engineer to join our client's offshore and subsea operations team in Abu Dhabi on a permanent basis. You will manage, administer and oversee all contractual aspects of assigned projects - post‑award contract obligations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in contract administration on large EPCs, a degree in engineering or related field, and certifications (MRICS/PMP/CCM) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract administration and commercial management on large EPC projects.
• Post award contracts experience preferred for assets, vessels, or equipment under responsibility.
• MRICS, PMP, CCM certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer project contracts (e.g., EPC, Survey, Subsea, CPA contracts).
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions; interpret clauses for the project team.
• Prepare, evaluate and recommend approval or rejection of contractor claims and change orders.
• Review interim payment applications and final accounts; monitor cost performance.
• Prepare regular contractual and commercial reports for the client; maintain auditable records.
• Act as contractual interface between client, contractors and consultants; support meetings.
