Job summary

NMDC Energy in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Offshore Construction Lead to oversee multi-disciplinary offshore execution activities in oil and gas projects.

You will coordinate schedules, subcontractor performance, and safety compliance while maintaining cost control and contract alignment. Fluency in English and strong negotiation skills are essential.

The role requires a mechanical/civil/naval engineering background and at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, naval or equivalent engineering.
• Minimum 10 years' offshore construction experience in oil & gas.
• Strong commercial, financial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in offshore construction planning, scheduling and interface management.
• Coordinate subcontractor mobilization, progress monitoring, and safety audits.
• Prepare offshore documentation, reports, and variation assessments.
• Ensure compliance with contract, ISO standards, and HSE requirements.
