Job summary

Worley is seeking a Sr. Construction Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead construction activities for mega oil and gas projects. The role requires coordinating with client teams, reviewing design packages, and ensuring workpacks meet scope and schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
Fifteen (15+) years of relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience.
Five (5) years in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical project role.
ADNOC project experience is required.
Offshore project experience is required.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities; able to influence.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise work.

Responsibilities

Comply with HSSE plan and promote construction involvement in design and work pack prep.
Develop and maintain familiarity with client construction support providers and contractors.
Lead constructability reviews and interface with client for fabrication and construction queries.
Ensure workpacks meet scope requirements and are aligned with plans.
Coordinate with project engineers and vendors to maintain priorities and expedite review comments.
Prepare transport, installation plans and commissioning strategy within workpacks.
