Job summary

Worley is seeking a Lead Construction Engineer to provide construction support, ensuring work complies with client fabrication and installation specifications. You will coordinate with the client to ensure methods are understood and fit for purpose, and support Project Engineers through all life-cycle phases.

This role requires safety leadership, offshore construction management experience in oil and gas, and the ability to engage multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Safety leadership and proven performance.
• 5+ years GCC experience in oil & gas offshore construction management.
• Bachelor's degree mandatory.
• Experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction activities ensuring compliance with client specs and plans.
• Coordinate with client to ensure methods are understood and fit for purpose.
• Support project engineers throughout the project life-cycle.
• Chair constructability reviews and interface with client for fabrication queries.
• Promote cost reduction and productivity initiatives.
• Liaise with vendors and sub-contractors and manage workpacks.
• Ensure timely IFC construction comments and applicable shutdown planning.
• Build professional relationships with client procurement and construction groups.
