Job summary
KBR, Inc. is seeking a Coating Specialist for an offshore Abu Dhabi project. You will supervise surface preparation, painting, and corrosion protection activities to meet ADNOC Offshore specs and project QA requirements, ensuring asset integrity and reliability.
The role requires extensive experience with offshore jackets, topsides, pipelines, and vessels, plus NACE/ISO certifications, and strong coordination with clients and inspectors on site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory for this role.
- Minimum 10 years of coating inspection experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, offshore or petrochemical projects.
- Minimum 5 years on ADNOC Offshore projects or equivalent major offshore developments.
- Strong knowledge of SSPC/NACE standards, ISO 12944 and ASTM coating inspection practices.
Responsibilities
- Supervise surface preparation and coating application for offshore structures, modules, piping and vessels.
- Review and approve coating procedures, method statements, ITPs and quality documentation.
- Ensure proper environmental conditions during blasting and painting operations.
- Witness coating activities during fabrication, construction, pre-commissioning and installation.
- Interface with ADNOC Offshore representatives and third‑party inspectors; coordinate audits and close‑out actions.
