Job summary

Wood is recruiting an experienced PMC Civil/Structural Engineering Specialist for ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The role sits within our civil engineering team supporting the oil, gas and new energies business.

Based at the client office in Abu Dhabi, you will provide technical leadership on civil and structural design, ensure compliance with ADNOC codes and standards, and coordinate with EPC contractors to deliver engineering deliverables on time and to quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in oil and gas.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integration of overall Civil and Structural Engineering within IPMT and with EPC Contractor.
• Review and approve engineering consultant's and EPC Contractor's Civil and Structural design activities for compliance.
• Coordinate required engineering participation in development and analysis of design options and business models.
• Provide technical assistance during installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Interface with Contractors' engineering and project management teams as required.
