Job summary

Wood is recruiting an experienced PMC Civil/Structural Engineering Specialist for ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to support our civil engineering work. The role sits at our client office in Abu Dhabi and involves coordinating with EPC contractors and ADNOC Engineering, Operations, and Site Interfaces.

The role emphasizes technical leadership in civil and structural design, ensuring compliance with codes and ADNOC standards, and delivering designs within project timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in all Civil and Structural design
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, monitor and handle Civil and Structural engineering design with EPC Contractor as per project expectations
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering/Operation/Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality discipline engineering execution and integrity
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Civil and Structural deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Civil/Structural Engineering Specialist for our client ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi as part of our civil engineering within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role

• Provide technical expertise in all Civil and Structural design
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, Monitor and handle Civil and Structural Engineering design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Civil and Structural Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
