Job summary
Black Pearl Consult in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Nurse – Tissue & Skin Bank to support and coordinate clinical activities related to tissue and skin bank operations. The successful candidate will provide senior-level nursing care to potential and confirmed donors, coordinate donor management, and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, ethical donation processes.
This role requires Dubai DHA registration, a nursing degree, and strong leadership and communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Significant clinical nursing experience.
- Senior-level nursing experience in organ donation or critical care.
- Ability to coordinate complex patient-care activities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Must meet Dubai Health Authority professional registration requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level nursing care to potential and confirmed donors.
- Coordinate donor identification, referral and assessment.
- Collaborate with physicians and transplant teams for donor care.
- Monitor donor status and support donor management.
- Assist in organ and tissue retrieval coordination.
- Liaise with ICU, ED, OR, labs and transplant teams.
- Educate and support families throughout the donation process.
- Document donor assessments and interventions accurately.
- Assist in developing clinical protocols and workflows.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in training.
- Engage in audits, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Contribute to service development and performance improvement.
