Job summary

ValueLabs in Dubai is hiring NodeJS Developers for onsite roles. The candidate will develop scalable RESTful APIs using NodeJS and GraphQL, with hands-on TypeScript experience.

You will work in a distributed services environment, implement CI/CD, and containerize apps with Docker and Kubernetes. The role requires 7+ years of coding in NodeJS and databases, strong knowledge of security, testing, and documentation practices, and fintech/ banking exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of coding experience in NodeJS, JavaScript and Databases.
• At least 1 year hands-on experience with TypeScript.
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging and monitoring.
• Excellent knowledge of developing scalable RESTful APIs with NodeJS.
• GraphQL experience.
• CI/CD practices and troubleshooting in distributed services ecosystems.
• Docker and Kubernetes familiarity.
• API gateway integrations like 3Scale.
• JWT/OAuth for authentication.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and messaging (Kafka).
• Agile methodology experience; fintech/banking exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and highly available RESTful APIs using NodeJS.
• Implement GraphQL APIs and integrate API gateways.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and maintain distributed services infrastructure.
• Containerize applications with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes.
• Ensure security, testing, and documentation standards are followed.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate technical decisions to management.
