Job summary

Virtusa Middle East FZ-LLC is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design, develop and deploy scalable services for wealth management platforms using Node.js. You will integrate with external data providers, manage complex data transformations, and ensure real-time updates with secure authentication and authorization.

The role requires 5+ years in Node.js/Typescript with a focus on performance tuning and monitoring in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of coding experience in NodeJS, Typescript, JavaScript and Databases.
• At least 1 year hands-on in wealth management.
• Hands on experience in performance tuning, debugging, monitoring

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy robust backend services and APIs for wealth management platforms using Node.js.
• Integrate with third-party financial data providers and internal systems.
• Handle complex data transformations and real-time updates.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect client data.
• Ensure high performance and scalability with optimized database schemas and queries.
