Job summary

Dautom in the UAE seeks a Senior Network and Security Engineer to design, implement, and safeguard the enterprise network and security infrastructure of a UAE government entity. The role blends advanced networking with hands‑on cybersecurity to ensure availability, resilience, and confidentiality of mission‑critical services while complying with UAE IA standards and regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
• 8 years of hands‑on experience in network and security engineering, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Prior UAE government or large‑enterprise experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience configuring and managing enterprise network and security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, SIEM, NAC).
• Knowledge of UAE IA Standards (NESA / SIA) and ISO 27001/27002 is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network infrastructure across data center and campus environments.
• Administer and harden perimeter and internal security controls (NGFW, IPS/IDS, WAF, NAC).
• Implement and maintain Zero Trust architecture and micro‑segmentation; secure remote access (IPSec/SSL VPN).
• Monitor and triage security events; support incident response with SOC using SIEM tooling.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Information Assurance standards and regulatory frameworks.
