Job summary

Talent Bridge HR Consultancy Dubai is seeking a Senior System & Network Engineer based in Dubai, UAE. The role involves designing, implementing, and securing complex networks, with hands-on duties across servers, firewalls, and cloud services.

You will monitor performance, manage backups, and collaborate with architects to ensure robust, scalable infrastructure in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• CCNP certification is required or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of systems, networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
• Knowledge of system security techniques and data backup/recovery.
• Hands-on experience with networking, routing, switching, and firewall configuration.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and workstations.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with network architects to optimize network design.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments.
• Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
• Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing security measures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems.
• Replace faulty network hardware components when required.
• Maintain, configure, and monitor virus protection software and email applications.
• Manage and monitor network security, including firewalls and other security systems.
• Conduct regular backup operations and implement data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Stay current with advancements and security trends to ensure system security.
• Assist in network and system architecture planning and development.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users.
