Job summary

Stellar Technologies in the UAE is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer (Fortinet Specialist) to design, implement, and manage secure, large-scale network and security infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments for UAE government projects.

The role requires deep Fortinet expertise (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiWeb, FortiAP), strong routing and VPN skills, and a track record in Azure integrations and SD-WAN.

Qualifications

• 9–10+ years of experience in network and security engineering within UAE Government projects
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate), Fortinet Switching & Wireless, FortiWeb, FortiAnalyzer, Fortinet on Azure, and Load Balancers
• Excellent knowledge of routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP) and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL) and Zero Trust concepts

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Fortinet Firewall solutions for perimeter and internal security
• Configure Fortinet Core/Access switches and FortiAPs; implement SD-WAN and secure network architectures
• Lead Fortinet deployments on Azure and ensure alignment with UAE government cybersecurity standards
• Create technical documentation, diagrams, and change records; mentor junior engineers
